Calling all families, educators and literacy champions! 313Reads is hosting an in-person and virtual event on Wednesday, Oct 18. The Right to Read is a community conversation on Detroit’s landmark right to read lawsuit; and a screening of the Right to Read Film. The film shares the stories of a courageous activist, a teacher, and two American families who fight to provide our youngest generation with the most foundational indicator of life-long success: the ability to read.
